BUDWEISER MADE IN AMERICA

Wrote, shot, and directed this short for Budweiser Made in America Music Festival featuring Brooklyn-based artist Ward Yoshimoto while freelancing at Translation.

Ward is an all around all-American dude and his “Bud Series” sculptures are made of Budweiser beer cans. So the Bud folks were pretty into that as you can imagine.

It was part of a bigger brand play along with the fine people at Translation. Below you'll find some of that thinking.

THIS LABOR DAY WEEKEND, TWO CITIES, ONE NATION, AND ITS BEER COME TOGETHER TO CELEBRATE NOT JUST THOSE WHO MAKE MUSIC,
BUT MAKERS OF ALL KINDS.

WE STAND AMIDST SOME GREAT CHALLENGES, BUT ALSO AN ENORMOUS WAVE OF CREATIVITY. SOME CALL IT THE “MAKER MOVEMENT”
AND IT REPRESENTS A REBIRTH OF AMERICAN INGENUITY.

OUR VERSION OF THE AMERICAN DREAM INVOLVES
MORE THAN JUST DREAMING. IT’S ABOUT HARD WORK.

WE TAKE ACTION.
WE DO.
WE MAKE.

WE MAKE IT WORK.
WE MAKE A DIFFERENCE.
WE MAKE THE WORLD SMALLER AND
IN THE PROCESS WE COME TOGETHER.
